Creating Awesome Logos Using Multiple
Text Effects
1. Open a new document or create a new layer.
2. Choose the text tool and create your text layer, works best with
a thick font. The font size should be fairly large and color is not
important.
3. Now double click on the text layer to open the Layer Style Window.
Then set a black stroke to the width of 1.

4. Next select the gradient field and choose the settings shown below.
It should look like this so far.
5. Now we want to give the text an outside outline or "glow"
using the setting shown below,
Technique-Presice
Spread-0%
Size-3%
Range-1-2%
and check the Anti-Aliased field.
4.
It should look similar to this-

6. Now command click (Mac) on the text layer to activate the layer pixels
and it should select the actual text.
7. Now grab a big soft brush with the opacity of 20% and wisp back and
forth a few times until you get a nice gradient look that you are happy
with. Now deselect and give it a drop shadow if you want.
This is what your project should look like when complete.
